SO, Dani's long awaited party. Very successful, as I had a fantastic time.
I met a lot of her friends from school, and totally fell in love with Rueben. He's very attractive + very nice. He is also a drug lord. Ha. Even better! He wore Dani's purple-lensed aviators the whole night, both inside and outside. It was hot. We played cards, games included : Go Fish, and Snap. As we were too drunk/drugged to figure anything else out. The whole night was just really chilled out and everyone had fun. Except for a guy called John (I think) who took too many pills and had a bad trip. He went walkabout and never returned. And I still haven't found out where he got to. But oh well.
We had some gate crashers, just some idiots who kind of knew some of the people. One of them claimed that "all the girls are goths with black hair and shit", then Lucy with her tanned skin and blonde hair said "Um, hello?". He then replied with, "You're just the goat they're going to sacrifice later on". Right. So they fucked off, but returned again and put Dani's bin in the garden (what kind of satisfaction they got from that I'm not sure..), but then left for good. Some really short guy with a skank (a tall skank) girlfriend appeared, apparently had sex and then had their own private little touchy feely dance party in front of everyone, in the lounge room, by themselves. Rueben and I had good fun laughing at them. Rueben kept taking photos of me on his phone, I was flattered. I took some photos of him posing as a gangsta, also on his phone. I should've got some photos on my phone, but I pretty much forgot about it.
Lucy gave me some absinthe, but it really did nothing but give me a big headache. They'd mixed a little bit of water with it so it wouldn't be as lethal, but I wasn't seeing anything.
After Rueben and I bitched about the shitty RATM song being on repeat + skipping all the time + being too lazy to get up and change it, we crashed at about 3:30-4:00. I was brushing my teeth and the room he was sleeping in was right next to the bathroom. I walked out as he was going into the room, and I said "Goodnight", and he gave me an inviting smile, looked at me for a few seconds (in a few different places), and said goodnight as well. I wish I'd just followed him right in there.
Rueben's friend Tim was also really cool, we had some funny chats and then this morning he said it was nice to meet me before he and Rueben headed off.
I hope Rueben will invite me to one of his parties. I think he will (but I guess I won't get my hopes up). That'd be sweeeet.
Played soccer today, and luckily I didn't really feel the hangover at that point. We played against Wolumla, and we drew 2-2. But once again, we only had one sub, they had FOUR. And we were winning 2-1 until the last ten minutes when they scored a pretty easy goal. But oh well, we're improving heaps and it's good.
